WE CARE
Daher is fully committed to supporting the safety of everyone who flies its airplanes. Factory-approved training is included for the purchase of a new aircraft, and Daher encourage every TBM pilot to stay up-to-date with flying procedures and the latest regulations.
A NEW DAHER
PROGRAM
At Daher, the priority is to provide owners and operators of TBM and Kodiak aircraft with the knowledge and skills to operate these airplanes at their maximum level of safety. To be fully effective, Daher created the Safe Horizons program that standardizes TBM training across the pilot population. As part of this initiative, a process is being created for Daher to recognize qualified instructor pilots (IPs), along with harmonizing their instructor training.
INITIAL COURSES
FOR NEW OWNERS
For many pilots, buying a TBM represents a step-up from a smaller and less rapid airplane. To ease such a transition, Daher puts the emphasis on initial TBM training via selected partners, and ensures a focus on the learning of new – and often more complex – aircraft systems and operating procedures.
TRAINING
ORGANIZATION
Two training organizations – SIMCOM Aviation Training in North America and SIMAERO in Europe – have been selected by Daher to offer factory-approved training.
TRAINING IN AMERICA
Factory-approved initial TBM flight training in the Americas is provided through TBM’s partner, SIMCOM Aviation Training. SIMCOM utilizes three Level 5 flight training devices that are based on real TBM cockpits, in either the EFIS/GNS 530 or G1000 configurations. SIMCOM’s training centers are in Orlando, Florida and Prescott, Arizona, conveniently positioning these training resources for TBM pilots with U.S. licenses.
TRAINING IN EUROPE
For customers outside the Americas, factory-approved TBM flight training is delivered by SIMAERO at Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrenees (LFBT) airport, which is an Approved Training Organization (ATO) in France, certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The training is provided “in aircraft,” using the owner’s airplane or a rented TBM. These courses are conducted by highly experienced class rating instructors approved by EASA to deliver a TBM SET (Single-engine Turboprop) Class rating.
The entire TBM fleet is backed by the Daher Aircraft Division’s extensive worldwide support network that offers services tailored to the needs of owners and operators. Daher genuinely cares about the customers and shows pride in everything the company does. This comes from being one of the world’s leading general aviation manufacturers, with a legacy of over 18,000 aircraft built since 1911 – and a reputation for building great products with a support staff that is ready to provide help and assistance whenever needed.

TBM UPGRADE CATALOG
One of Daher's goal is to improve and to innovate for all the TBM fleet. This catalog is listing all the innovations proposed for all TBM models, from the first TBM 700 to the youngest generation.
TBM TOTAL CARE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
With every new TBM 960 and TBM 910, Daher provides customers with its TBM Total Care Maintenance Program (TCMP) as part of the purchase package. This exclusive program gives complimentary scheduled maintenance for the initial TBM retail owner – including annual inspections – for the first five years or 1,000 hours of aircraft operation. The TCMP covers all scheduled maintenance costs (with the exception of consumable items). In addition, it provides complimentary CAMP computerized maintenance tracking and follow-up for the initial retail owner during the first five years of ownership.
ME & MY TBM APPLICATION
Me & My TBM is an innovative smartphone application for TBM aircraft owners and operators. This cloud-based app leverages data automatically collected during every phase of flight, enabling pilots to enhance the TBM’s operating efficiency, ensure they are operating the aircraft to the highest safety standards, and optimize maintenance management.
